Who we are

The Mental Health Goals Programme is a UK-wide research programme delivered by partner institutions across the UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law, the data controller for this website is King’s College London.

The information we collect

When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number (if you provide it) and the content of your message. Our hosting providers also keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and secure the service.

When you register your interest in the Industry Engagement Forum we collect your name, organisation, role, email address and whether you intend to attend. You can also tell us about access or dietary requirements. That box is optional, and anything you write in it may reveal information about your health, a disability or your beliefs, so please share only what you want us to act on.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to manage follow-up conversations about the programme. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries sent to us. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.

Forum registrations are used to allocate places, plan the day and contact you about it. Where you tell us about access or dietary requirements, we use that only to make the arrangements you have asked for, and share it with the venue and caterers only so far as it takes to do so.

Where it is stored and for how long

Enquiries are stored securely with our website hosting and email providers and are accessible only to the programme team. We keep contact-form enquiries for 12 months and then delete them.

Forum registrations are kept for 12 months after the event so that we can follow up on what came out of it. Access and dietary requirements are deleted once the event has taken place.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct or delete your information
• object to or restrict how we use it
• complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
